Aynor, SC (October 22, 2025) – A serious car accident in the Aynor area of Horry County sent five people to the hospital on Wednesday morning, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just before 9:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 319 and Rogers Road. When firefighters arrived, they found one vehicle overturned and several people trapped inside.
HCFR officials confirmed that rescue teams had to use hydraulic cutting tools to free multiple victims from the wreckage. Five individuals were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The conditions of the injured have not been disclosed at this time.
All lanes near the crash site remain blocked as emergency personnel and investigators continue to work in the area. Drivers are being urged to avoid the area to prevent additional congestion and allow responders to operate safely.
