Columbia, SC (March 15, 2026) – A fatal three-vehicle collision temporarily shut down the Gervais Street Bridge on Saturday, March 14, in Columbia.

Authorities reported that a male driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A female passenger involved in the collision was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
