Dog Attacks Woman, Seriously Injures Husband in Gaffney, SC

Gaffney, SC (July 27, 2026) – A woman was bitten, and her husband was seriously injured Sunday evening, July 26, after a dog attacked them at a home near South Johnson Street in Gaffney.

The husband was taken to the hospital following the attack. The full extent of his injuries has not been disclosed.

The investigation remains active according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
