Head-On Crash on Pendleton Rd Leaves One Dead and Two Injured in Pickens Co., SC

Pickens County, SC (June 28, 2026) – A head-on collision on 226 Pendleton Road in Pickens County resulted in one fatality and two additional people being hospitalized on Sunday, June 28.

The Pickens County Coroner’s Office said that emergency responders were called to the scene shortly after 2 a.m. following reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a direct impact between both vehicles. Upon arrival, officials confirmed that one driver had suffered fatal injuries.

Authorities identified the deceased as a 44-year-old man from Anderson. Two occupants from the second vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, though their conditions have not yet been released.

The coroner reported that the victim died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the collision.
