What Should Motorcyclists Know About Right-of-Way Laws in Mayo, SC?

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Chesnee HwySouth Carolina law requires all drivers to yield the right of way according to standard traffic rules, and motorcyclists carry the same legal rights and protections as any other vehicle operator on the road.

Motorcyclists face a higher risk of serious injury in intersection crashes than passenger vehicle occupants, since they lack the same physical protection. A facial laceration, for example, can sometimes indicate additional trauma that isn't immediately visible, particularly when the rider was thrown from the motorcycle or made contact with another vehicle.

Determining fault at a multi-road intersection usually requires reviewing signal timing, vehicle positioning, and witness accounts from those who saw the crash unfold.

A motorcycle accident lawyer can help a motorcyclist gather this evidence early, since surveillance footage from nearby businesses and dispatch records can be difficult to obtain once time has passed.
