Myrtle Beach, SC (October 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded on Saturday evening to a two-vehicle collision on 38th Avenue North near the bypass in Myrtle Beach.
According to initial reports, the crash, which took place on October 11, involved two passenger vehicles. One person was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries has not yet been released.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department and local emergency medical services arrived promptly to assist those involved and ensure the roadway was cleared safely. Two-vehicle collisions are among the most frequent and serious types of accidents on Myrtle Beach roads and throughout South Carolina. According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, thousands of these crashes occur each year, often caused by distracted driving, speeding, improper lane changes, failure to yield, or driving under the influence.
Even seemingly minor collisions can result in serious injuries such as whiplash, broken bones, concussions, soft tissue damage, or internal trauma, which may require weeks or months of medical care.
Victims often face not only physical pain but also long-term emotional and financial challenges. Medical treatment, ongoing rehabilitation, lost wages, and vehicle repairs can quickly create overwhelming stress. In more serious cases, families may pursue wrongful death or personal injury claims to recover damages, including pain and suffering, future medical care, loss of income, and loss of companionship.
