Clover, SC (August 31, 2026) – A 29-year-old corrections officer died on Sunday evening, August 30, in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 321 while on his way to work.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said the officer was involved in a crash that involved another vehicle around 5:30 p.m. in Clover. 

There are no further details about the second vehicle or what caused the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
