One Dead, One Hurt in I-77 Rollover Near Rock Hill, SC

Rock Hill, SC (August 10, 2026) – A Rock Hill man died early Sunday, August 9, after the pickup truck he was driving left an Interstate 77 exit ramp and rolled over.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene at the southbound Exit 82 ramp around 3 a.m. The Rock Hill Police say the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving hit a guardrail before overturning.

A 20-year-old passenger riding in the Silverado was taken to a hospital for treatment. That person's condition has not been released.
