One Killed in Crash on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greer, SC

Greer, SC (August 24, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night, August 23, after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of West Wade Hampton Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive.

The crash, which involved a motorcycle and a car, happened shortly after 8 p.m. The rider was taken to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:17 p.m.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified him as a 33-year-old man. His cause of death was ruled blunt force injuries, and the manner of death was listed as accidental.

The coroner's office and Greer police continue to look into what led to the collision.
