Greenville, SC (September 2, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by two vehicles early Wednesday morning, September 2, on South Pleasantburg Drive near Impact Drive in Greenville. The crash was reported around 4:40 a.m.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2015 Ford van pulling a utility vehicle was traveling south when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road. An unknown pickup truck then also hit the pedestrian before leaving the scene.

The pedestrian died at the scene. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has identified the person, but the name will be released after the family has been notified.
