Conway, SC (July 10, 2026) – A driver was injured on Thursday afternoon, July 9, after a blue car and a silver truck came together on a ramp near US-501 in Conway.
The two vehicles came together shortly after 2:47 p.m. on the Conway-bound ramp. Dispatchers received word of the wreck and sent emergency units to the ramp.
One person was removed from a vehicle and taken to a hospital for treatment. A tow truck was requested to clear the damaged vehicles from the ramp.
What caused the two vehicles to meet on the ramp has not been confirmed, and the Conway Police continue to investigate.
We hope the person hurt makes a full and speedy recovery.

People hurt in ramp accidents usually deal with whiplash, back pain, or fractures that are not always obvious right away. Some injuries take days to fully appear, which is why follow-up medical visits matter after a highway ramp injury. Vehicle damage and tow records can also help establish what happened when the two vehicles met.
A car accident attorney can help gather evidence, such as dispatch records, vehicle damage photos, and witness statements, before it disappears. An attorney can also communicate with insurance adjusters on behalf of the injured person and explain what types of compensation may be available.
