Suspected DUI Driver Hits Patrol Car on N Main St in Moncks Corner, SC

Moncks Corner, SC (July 25, 2026) – A suspected impaired driver was arrested after allegedly rear-ending a patrol vehicle on North Main Street in Moncks Corner on Thursday night, July 23, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. after two deputies, who had been stopped at a traffic signal in a marked patrol vehicle, proceeded through an intersection and were struck from behind.

Both deputies were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, identified as 25-year-old Treyvon Behrends Wallace of Goose Creek, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.
