Conway, SC (September 17, 2026) – Four people were injured in a two-car wreck near Highway 905 and Highway 22 in Conway on Thursday, September 17.
Horry County Fire Rescue received the call at about 7:28 p.m. Emergency crews took all four people to a hospital.
Lanes of Highway 905 remained blocked while crews helped those involved and cleared the road. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating what caused the collision.
We wish everyone injured a full and speedy recovery.

When someone needs care after leaving the hospital, the bills can keep growing. Follow-up visits, scans, medication, physical therapy, and care from a specialist can all add to the total cost.
Beyond medical bills, you may be able to seek payment for lost wages, car repairs, and pain and suffering. The amount will depend on your injuries, available insurance, and how the accident has affected your daily life.
To show what the crash has cost you, keep your medical bills, insurance statements, wage records, photographs, and crash report. These records can connect each expense or financial loss to the accident.
If more than one driver contributed to the wreck, South Carolina law allows fault to be divided among them. Your compensation may be reduced based on your share of fault, and you generally cannot recover damages if you are found more than 50% responsible.
In South Carolina, most personal injury lawsuits must be filed within three years. Missing the deadline can prevent you from seeking payment through the courts, although a different time limit may apply in some cases.
When several insurance companies are involved, a South Carolina car accident lawyer can determine which coverage may apply. An attorney can also address disputes that could affect the amount you receive.
