Two Hurt in Fiery 18-Wheeler Crash in Blacksburg, SC

Blacksburg, SC (August 23, 2026) – Two people were injured in a collision involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle on the I-85 South on-ramp in Blacksburg on Sunday, August 23.

The Antioch Fire Department said an 18-wheeler T-boned the other vehicle near the QuikTrip gas station. The vehicle then overturned and caught fire.

Emergency units from several departments arrived and assisted those involved. EMS transported two people with non-life-threatening injuries.
