Lancaster County, SC (August 27, 2026) – Two 18-year-olds died in a single-vehicle wreck on Pineview Drive in Lancaster on Wednesday, August 26. The collision occurred at about 5:30 p.m.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the car was traveling east on Pineview Drive when the driver attempted to pass another vehicle. The car then left the right side of the roadway and struck several trees.
