Liberty, SC (August 28, 2026) – On Friday morning, August 28, a vehicle and a bus were involved in a collision on Winding Creek Road and Piney Trail Road. 

According to Liberty Fire, emergency crews rushed to the scene and found at least one person injured leaving at least one person hurt. It is yet not clear the full scope of the injuries reported. 

Authorities have not released what led the tow vehicles to collide. The investigation remains ongoing.
