Richland Co., SC – Pedestrian Killed After Multiple SUVs Hit Them on US 1

Richland County, SC (October 11, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Thursday night on US Highway 1 (Two Notch Road) in Richland County after a person was struck by three separate SUVs, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the incident happened in the evening hours on the highway when the victim was walking near the road. The first SUV struck the pedestrian, and then two more vehicles subsequently collided with the victim while passing the scene. Officials have not yet released the identity or age of the pedestrian.
