Carolina Forest Boulevard is a busy corridor connecting residential communities, schools, and shopping areas. This makes it a high-traffic roadway throughout the day. With frequent lane changes, turning traffic, and congestion near intersections, crashes involving two vehicles are not uncommon.
Even when only two vehicles are involved, these collisions can still cause serious injuries and major traffic delays.
In Horry County, two-vehicle accidents are often linked to various factors. These include distracted driving, failure to yield the right of way, speeding, or abrupt stops in congested areas. Morning hours can be especially hazardous as commuter traffic overlaps with school drop-offs and commercial activity.
Under South Carolina law, individuals injured in a motor vehicle accident may be entitled to pursue compensation. This can cover medical bills, lost income, vehicle damage, and physical and emotional pain when another driver’s negligence contributes to the crash.
However, insurance claims can quickly become complex. This is particularly true when injuries are severe or fault is contested.
Establishing liability in these cases typically involves a thorough review of crash reports, witness accounts, and any available video or traffic data. In some situations, responsibility may be shared. This can further complicate the claims process and make experienced legal guidance especially important.
